(Patient handout obtained from office of Davis Lamson, ND)
1. Inflammatory chemistry underlies all medical conditions, in addition to whatever else is behind a specific problem.
2. Under-functioning mitochondria also underlie all medical conditions.
Mitochondria generate the energy for running the cells of the body. They can under-generate even if just a generous number of years.
3. Then it was found that we have senescent cells, which are cells that became non-functional, but did not die. They generate a lot of inflammatory chemistry and bring us down.
4. Arteries can gradually become narrowed with plaque, limiting circulation to organs, including the heart. The organs then under-function, which is undesirable, especially for the heart.
5. Fibrosis is behind all organ failure. That is deposit of scar-like tissue that doesn't function like the organ cells, in fact it obstructs good function.
So those of us reasonably mature would profit from reducing inflammatory chemistry, discarding dysfunctional mitochondria and making new ones, discarding senescent cells, cleaning our arteries, and limiting or reversing fibrosis. (Yes. It is reversible.)
There are natural medicines that deal with all of the above situations.
Caveat before going further: Most of us are do-it-yourselfers. If you make a mistake on the kitchen cabinets, it isn't fatal to the cabinets or you. Most of us do not fix the brakes or engine innards of our car. So please seek competent advice for use of the materials mentioned below.
1. Thymoquinone, a world-class anti-inflammatory, is extracted from a plant that was found in King Tut's tomb. So we know it has been used medicinally for at least 3,000 years. A much better absorbed form is available now.
2. Urolithin A, also natural, gives a signal to dispose of under-functioning mitochondria and make new ones.
3. Fisetin disposes of senescent cells, decreasing "drag" on the body. It isn't dosed in the usual daily pattern, so get advice.
4. Soft plaque in arteries can be removed by an enzyme discovered in a traditional Japanese food. It can also remove amyloid plaque in the brain of people with Alzheimer's disease. But before blindly using the enzyme, find the condition of your arteries by Digital Pulsewave Analysis or some other appropriate method. That way you can tell when you are done.
5. Fibrosis is a little more complicated, depending on where it is.
(Used for detecting atherosclerosis (artery hardening) or any heart rhythm variation)
When the heart pumps, a pressure wave is sent through the arteries. The shape of the wave depends on how stiff or pliable the artery walls are. The wave shape carries to even small capillaries in the finger (digit).
The digial pulsewave analysis (DPA) instrument uses a red light through the finger capillaries to detect the wave shape. Analysis provides a grade of artery stiffness from A to G.
An A grade is usually only in persons in their 20's, athletes, or long-standing vegetarians. So, a B grade is good for most adults. However, those in the D, E, F, or G categories deserve various amounts of concern and guidance.
Atherosclerosis is the result of gradual lining of arteries with oily or possibly calcified material (plaque), giving stiffer, narrower arteries that carry less blood. High arterial stiffness and lower blood flow will affect most major organs. Of particular concern are the heart, brain, liver, and kidneys.
It's best to detect and reverse atherosclerosis before some critical circulation problem occurs. Atherosclerosis may be suspected from physical symptoms of reduced circulation, long-standing high cholesterol, high blood pressure, or other observations or experience but mostly it is silent.
The DPA instrument gives a quick evaluation of the degree of artery stiffness and therefore the amount of plaque deposited. Only if the stiffness score is very high would a recommendation would be given for a "Heart Scan" to show the amount of calcified plaque in the heart vessels.
A wonderful part about restoring full circulation is that all organs are back to nearly the original condition of receiving full shares of nutrients and oxygen. They will act like you are younger than you are.
